About the Lab
For information about how to use the Lab, please see the 'How to Use the Lab' page.
The Student to Student Language is a free multimedia online resource for middle and high school grades that features students teaching their peers their first language. The Chinese section of the Lab is being developed through a three-year United States Department of Education International Research and Studies Program grant to the Research Foundation at the State University of New York.
OneWorld Classrooms created the Lab prototype and, in partnership with the Research Foundation, is hosting the Lab on its Web site. Partners in China include WorldTeach, Inc., the Yale-China Association, the Confucius Institute, the Shanghai World Languages Middle School, the #2 High School Attached to East China Normal University in Shanghai and the #2 Middle School Attached to Beijing University in Beijing.
